Driven by strong e-commerce demand, Australia Post’s total revenue increased 10% in 2020, to reach €5bn.

Driven by strong demand for postal parcel services, domestic parcels and express volumes increased by close to a quarter in 2020. However, the pandemic impacted international deliveries with the post’s cross-border parcel volumes dropping by a similar amount. The post continued to expand parcel sorting capacity in 2020, opening one new sorting in the year. It also expanded its PUDO point network through partnerships and parcel locker additions.
