The ongoing fall in online retail sales in the UK appears to have slowed in July after steep drops in June and May, according to the latest IMRG Capgemini Online Retail Index, which tracks the online sales performance of over 200 retailers. Online retail sales fell by -9.6% Year-on-Year (YoY) last month compared to June’s -14.1%, leaving sales down by 10.6% over the past three months compared to dramatic growth rates in the May – July 2020 period, the British e-commerce association and the consultancy’s joint index showed.
